1. Our commitment
Edusodes is committed to making learning available to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim for the website and application to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium.
2. What we do
- Use semantic HTML, landmarks and a logical heading structure on every page.
- Make every interactive element reachable and operable with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
- Give controls, progress bars and status changes accessible names and live-region announcements.
- Choose text and interface colors for strong contrast, and never rely on color alone to convey meaning.
- Reduce animation for people who have enabled reduced motion in their operating system.
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and hide decorative ones from assistive technology.
- Support browser zoom and text resizing up to 200% without loss of content.
- Write episodes in plain language with short paragraphs and descriptive headings.
3. Conformance status
We believe Edusodes partially conforms to WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially conforms means that some parts of the content may not yet fully meet the standard. Known limitations:
- Episode countdown timers update every second. They are not announced continuously to screen readers, so the exact remaining time is read only when the element is focused or the page loads.
- Episodes produced by AI may occasionally include tables or code examples that are harder to navigate with a screen reader. Tell us if you find one and we will improve it.
- Checkout and billing pages are provided by Stripe, whose accessibility is outside our direct control.
4. Compatibility
Edusodes is designed to work with current versions of major browsers, including Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, and with common assistive technologies such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack. The Service requires JavaScript for interactive features such as quizzes.
5. Feedback and alternative formats
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or need content in an alternative format, email accessibility@edusodes.com. Please include the page address and a description of the problem. We aim to reply within 5 business days and to propose a solution within 15 business days.
6. Review
This statement was prepared on 23 October 2026 based on a self-assessment by the Edusodes team. We review it whenever we make significant changes to the Service.
